Excellent authentic Indian restaurant! We ate its food thrice in 3 days! As its name goes, of course we had different kinds of Dosas, Medu Wada and everything was very nice. Even though we were full, I got tempted seeing Paneer Tikka Masala in the menu and I decided to have it as take away and it was a great decision. The Paneer tikka masala was so tasty, creamy and full of flavours, super yummy. Service and ambience are fine.
One of the best South indian food in Athens. The masala dosa was very good along with 2 type of chutney and sambar. The service was excellent & highly recommended. Prices are reasonable. We enjoyed the Dosa.
We had an amazing culinary experience at Dosa King. Unlike other Indian restaurants we have eaten at to this day, this restaurant has an emphasis on South Indian food, and new flavors and dishes were opened up to us. We enjoyed every bite and sip. The restaurant is intimate, and decorated in enchanting colors. The employees at the restaurant are very nice. Bottom line, the restaurant is highly recommended, and there is no doubt that every time we are in Athens we will eat there.
We ordered 2 rotis and a kadai panner side dish. Our daughter had cheese Masala Dosai. There was only one waiter. Around 3 families were seated here. The service was fairly quick. Ambience was good. Most often visited by Indians who miss the Indian food.
One of a kind, great traditional food and atmosphere. Spicy and tasty. We will visit again!
You would easily walk by this hidden gem, but then you're really missing out. Freshly cooked quality indian food in a cosy setting, good portions at ridiculously low prices. The interior is nicely decorated. We took the chicken tika massala and the butter chicken with 2 portions of rice and two portions of parotta bread. The butter chicken was our personal favourite. Would highly recommend coming here.
Very good Indian restaurant to try in Athens. Authentic South Indian food especially Dosas. Everything was good.
As soon as we entered we were Greeted by the Smiling Face from the Owner. The Person who helped and took the order was also very Polite Ambience = Nice Indian Vibes Food = We tried Papad, Dahi Papri Chat and Veg Biryani. Dahi Papri Chat was good, the Dahi was served with proper temperature with the Masala’s on top. Biryani was Steaming Hot. This Portion was good enough for me and my wife. We took Idli parcel for next days Breakfast. When in Athens make sure you have one stop here. Location - At Walking Distance from Monastirakiou Sqaure / Next turn from Thiseio Metro Station. Note - If you have dinner here.. make sure you have a walk from Thiseio’s Metro to Back side of acropolis. It has totally different vibes
